Hopewell
Township is located in the northwestern section of Cumberland County, in
the Southern part of New Jersey. Hopewell is home to 4,500 residents and
many businesses and farms.
Hopewell offers a unique mixture of suburban
and rural living. The Township is planning for a future of managed growth,
preservation of open space and farmland, protection of natural resources and
retention of its suburban and rural character.
Along NJ State
Highway 49, known as Shiloh Pike, just west of Bridgeton, you will find
Hopewell's growing retail, professional and corporate center. This is home
to dozens of businesses and the new Hopewell Township Business Park.
Hopewell's thousands of acres of fertile, slightly rolling land, includes
beautiful suburban-type single-family residential neighborhoods, scattered
single-family homes, schools, churches, farms, lakes, streams and wooded
areas.
